Reality override

REBOOT is not a resignation.

It’s a refusal to keep running someone else’s script.

If you’re overwhelmed — stop. But don’t stay there. Ask for help.

Now that the noise is gone, it’s even louder.

I used to think something was wrong with me.
Too sensitive. Too aware. Too tired for no reason.

But what if it’s not me?
What if reality just… stopped pretending to be kind?

One morning I woke up and everything felt too sharp.
The light. The questions. The emails.
The way people said “how are you?”
as if there was only one correct answer.

I didn’t break.
I just stopped buffering.

You know how sometimes your brain goes:
“This can’t be real.”
And then one day it says:
“No, it is. And that’s the problem.”

They call it anxiety.
But maybe it’s just signal loss.
Maybe it’s what happens when the mask of control falls off —
and you see the glitching behind it.

“Diagnosed with reality” isn’t a joke.
It’s a quiet label for those who’ve stopped pretending.
Not healed. Not better. Just…
awake.

Now, instead of fixing myself,
I look around and ask:
“Was this really worth breaking for?”

And then I do the only thing that makes sense:

I keep walking.
With open eyes.
With a half smile.
With no script.

If it made things even a little lighter —
just pass it on.
Not as a duty. But as warmth you don’t want to keep for yourself.
